The latest release from Pulse: The Colorado Health Foundation Poll has some interesting insights to share, by taking a deep dive into the concerns and challenges faced by Hispanic and Latino people across the state.
Beyond the obvious hurdles of rising costs and housing challenges, which we explored our July release, there's a whole spectrum of issues that are top of mind of Coloradans across the state.
In 2022, many Coloradans told us that they are feeling overwhelmed by the rising cost of living, including but not limited to housing costs. While Coloradans do their best to live within their means, many make difficult tradeoffs just to make ends meet. Some are skipping meals because they can’t afford food (16%); others are going without health care (41%) or working more in order to pay for their housing (41%); many are experiencing mental health strain (61%) but say out-of-pocket costs are a barrier to getting the help they need (47%).
Colorado’s residents may enjoy living in our beautiful state, but they are increasingly concerned with their ability to afford to do so, according to the results of Pulse: The Colorado Health Foundation’s poll of people living in Colorado.
